MIDLOTHIAN, VA - September 18, 2009 - SouthPeak Interactive Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SOPK), announces that Section 8™, its highly-anticipated sci-fi shooter for the Xbox 360® and PC, will be part of a massive European launch and is projected to become SouthPeak's top selling blockbuster title to date.

Developed by TimeGate Studios, Section 8™ is one of the season's most anticipated titles and has received rave reviews by leading game forums and at this year's E3 Expo. The European launch of Section 8™ will be part of a coordinated rollout over the continent, starting with the UK and ending in mainland Europe's powerhouse gaming countries, such as: France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Section 8 represents a number of "firsts" in the industry, including the first Xbox 360 title to allow players to host their own dedicated servers using a Windows®-based PC. These "X Servers" will support up to 32 players for Xbox 360, which is substantially higher than most games (typically limited to 16) when this functionality is not employed.

Section 8 is also the first title that gives players the unique ability to "Burn-In" anywhere they choose from 15,000 feet above the map, which opens many tactical possibilities during gameplay. Section 8 further improves upon the genre by allowing users to create their own unique game experiences by customizing equipment Loadouts to dramatically impact the flow of battle.
